401(e) Home Energy Service is a licensed and insured home performance contractor specializing in insulation, air sealing and other home comfort and energy efficiency solutions. We are based in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

401(e) was founded with the specific purpose of giving back to the community. Profits generated by 401(e) services are reinvested in non-profit social service programs provided by Red River Valley Community Action (RRVCA). That means when you complete a project with 401(e), you will realize a return on your investment, and a return on your community. RRVCA has over 35 years of experience performing home energy improvements and is a Grand Forks-based non-profit serving Grand Forks, Nelson, Pembina and Walsh counties.
Your energy efficiency improvements are completed to the highest standards thanks to our experience, state-of-the-art equipment, and our Building Performance Institute certified energy analysts. 401(e) Home Energy Service is also working with Home Performance with Energy Star to deliver whole-house energy savings to improve comfort and help protect the environment.
We are also certified Xcel Energy energy auditors.
